Outdoor Watering Schedule
Even-numbered addresses: Outdoor watering is allowed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Odd-numbered addresses: Outdoor watering is allowed on Thursdays and Sundays.
Prohibited hours: Outdoor watering is not permitted between 10 AM and 6 PM to minimize evaporation losses.
Exceptions
Hand-held hoses: Residents may use hand-held hoses with automatic shut-off nozzles for watering at any time.
Drip irrigation systems: These are exempt from the restrictions but must be used efficiently and should not result in runoff.
New landscaping: Newly installed landscapes can be watered daily for the first 30 days after installation but only outside of the prohibited hours.
Restricted Activities
Washing vehicles: Allowed only on designated watering days using a hand-held hose with an automatic shut-off nozzle or a bucket.
Swimming pools: Filling new swimming pools or refilling existing ones is allowed only on designated watering days.
Fountains and water features: Use of decorative fountains and water features is prohibited unless they recirculate water.
Penalties for Non-compliance
Residents and businesses found in violation of these restrictions will be subject to fines. The penalty structure is as follows:
First violation: Written warning.
Second violation: $100 fine.
Third violation: $250 fine and potential installation of a flow restrictor.
Subsequent violations: $500 fine and installation of a flow restrictor at the owner’s expense.
